I have never had any problems eating vegetarian, however sometimes it is a lot more challenging- especially on holiday. Sometimes the food is amazing, other times in more touristy places most restaurants serve pizza, pasta, soup, or salad and fries as veggie options. Nothing wrong with that of course, but it is pretty similar all the time and a lot of carbs and less healthy options. Not so good if you want to maintain that bikini body!
Luckily, when I was in Mallorca this weekend we found little restaurant on the boulevard, overlooking the sea offering ‘fresh and natural’ food. Ginger Restaurant has a great food menu as well as an extensive juice, smoothie and cocktail menu.
Plenty of vegetarian options, as well as a healthy non-veggie options. Besides, the interior of the restaurant is just great. Light, white painted woodwork and nice decorations and pillows- perfect to enjoy good food and watch people on the boulevard.
For starters I had the bruschetta, which was lovely and fresh and as a main course I had the Caprese salad. Together with a green detox smoothie it was a great lunch!
