Even though I am not vegan, whenever possible I try to find or make vegan alternatives to non vegan dishes. The basis of a tzatziki is as you probably know yoghurt- and luckily there are plenty of plantbased alternatives to cows yoghurt.
I love a tzatziki as a dip on a nice warm day with some roasted vegetables, or pita bread, but it is also nice in wraps or with potatoes. You can make it within a few minutes and since it is mostly yoghurt and cucumber it is a healthy alternatives to other dipping sauces.
For extra flavor all you need is a bit of lemon juice, garlic and fresh dill. You can use dried dill if you do not have any fresh ones, but fresh is better because it has a stronger flavor.
